Westwood Charter Food Drive is ON!

As you know, Westwood Charter moved the food drive to May this year. We never imagined, when we made that decision, that we would be in the middle of a pandemic and most things in life would have to go virtual.

Unfortunately, hunger and food insecurity has become an even bigger issue in these uncertain times.  We would like to come together as the WWC family to give you an option to help others in need.

This year, the annual food drive is helping by fundraising for World Central Kitchen, which is currently coordinating access to daily healthy meals at "Grab and Go" sites throughout LAUSD. World Central Kitchen is the non-profit created by Jose Andreas, a world renowned chef and humanitarian who has stepped into Los Angeles County to help our neighbors when they need it the most.

Michelle Stuffmann and Leepi Shimkhada are coordinating this drive with local World Central Kitchen staff and amazing food drive class reps, who have volunteered to help make this a success. We look forward to your participation with any amount that you can give at this unprecedented time. Thank you and be safe!
