Dear Westwood Families,

Thank you for your continued support as we prepare for the last few months of the school year.  Friday, March 31, all LAUSD schools will be closed for Cesar Chavez Day and closed the following week, April 3-7,  LAUSD schools are closed for Spring Break. STAR will hold a spring camp at Westwood April 3-6 and details can be found on their website.  Please mark your calendar for our upcoming school events in April: Jersey Day (April 14), Science Slam (April 29), and Wear Westwood every Wednesday!

In preparation for returning from Spring Break, please review and follow COVID-19 protocols to help ensure a safe learning environment for all Los Angeles Unified students and staff.  It is recommended, but not required, for students to test within 48 hours of entering campus after breaks. These tests have varying expiration dates, however, they are authorized for use beyond their expiration date by the California Department of Public Health, see letter in English and Spanish

The rapid tests should be taken at home 24-48 hours before students and staff return to school on Monday,  April 10, 2023.
